The Emu-FDC combines a floppy disk controller and a floppy disk emulator in a single cartridge. It can read floppy disk images from an SD card and mount them so your MSX can access them as if they were real floppy disks.
The Emu-FDC is compatible with MSX-DOS and includes Disk BASIC v1.1 in ROM. It works with MSX, MSX2, MSX2+, and Turbo R systems. MSX-DOS requires at least 64 KB of RAM.
On systems with internal floppy drives, some disk images may not load correctly because of drive enumeration conflicts. In those cases, you may need to disable the internal floppy drive or controller so the Emu-FDC is recognized as drive A:.

Attention: Requires at least 64k RAM to load MSXDOS. Machines with internal floppy drives might need those drives to be disconnected or disabled for the Emu-FDC to be seen as drive "A:"
To receive a replacement or refund, defective units must first be returned to us for inspection. Once the item has been examined, we will repair, replace, or refund it as appropriate.
Products that have been damaged through improper use, careless handling, or any modification made by the buyer are not eligible for warranty service, replacement, or refund.
