Products

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, compatibility information, and photographs are accurate. However, minor variations may occur, particularly with products that are assembled or manufactured in small batches.

Some products are built to order and may require additional assembly and testing time before shipment. Estimated lead times are shown on the product pages.

Orders and payment

Orders are processed after payment has been received. If we are unable to fulfill an order, we will contact you and issue a refund.

Prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and do not include import duties, taxes, or customs fees that may apply in the destination country.

Shipping

We ship worldwide. Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the destination and customs processing.

The customer is responsible for providing a correct shipping address. We are not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect address information.

Product compatibility

Many of our products are designed for vintage computer systems and may depend on the specific hardware configuration of the machine. Compatibility information is provided to the best of our knowledge, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every hardware revision, expansion, or third-party accessory.

Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products.

Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase.

All 8bits4ever products include a 6-month warranty covering manufacturing defects.

If a product develops a fault during the warranty period, please contact us before returning it. Defective products must be returned for inspection before a replacement or refund can be issued.

Returns

You may return a product within 14 days of delivery, provided that it is unused, complete, and in its original condition.

To arrange a return, please contact us before sending the item back.

Refunds

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. Payment processing fees may be deducted from the refund if they are not returned to us by the payment provider.

Defective products

If a product is defective, it must be returned for inspection before a replacement or refund can be issued.

Products damaged through improper use, incorrect installation, electrical damage, or modification by the buyer are not eligible for a refund or replacement.

Firmware and BIOS

If a product becomes unusable due to an incorrect firmware or BIOS update or downgrade performed by the user, we do not provide technical support for the reflashing process. Opening a product that is not intended to be user-serviceable will void the warranty. If you want to keep your product under warranty, please send it back to us for inspection and reflashing.

Built-to-order products

Built-to-order products may be cancelled before shipment. If production has already started, a cancellation fee may apply to cover materials and labor already committed to the order.
