The SX-2 is a reissue of our second-generation MSX FPGA system, fully compatible with KdL’s OCM-PLD 3.9.2 firmware.
The SX-2 is built around an Altera Cyclone IV FPGA with 22,000 logic elements, nearly twice the capacity of the older Cyclone I used in the original OneChipMSX, Zemmix, and SX-1 systems.
The SX-2 operates as an MSX2+ machine and is fully compatible with the latest KdL OCM-PLD 3.9.2 firmware release.
This reissue retains the original SX-2 hardware design, with the exception of the third cartridge slot, and introduces a new enclosure that matches the design of our latest MSX FPGA systems.
